Nov 1 – Registration Closes
Nov 2 – Participants pick up yard signs at Ranson Visitors Center
Dec 4 – People’s Choice Judging Begins (Santa’s Pick, Mrs. Claus Pick, and Buddy Pick judging dates are TBD)
Jan 4 – Winners announced
Eligibility and Rules:
- Participant must live in 25438 (Ranson) or 25414 (Charles Town) zip code.
- Lights must be turned on Dec 4th, 2021. Judging begins!
- You will be notified of the nights in which Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Buddy will be judging.
- Displays must be able to be seen from the nearest road.
- Yard Signs must be picked up at Ranson Visitors Center (216 N. Mildred Street, Ranson) between Nov 2-Nov 27th.
- Yard Signs must be displayed in a way that they are visible from the road.
- Yard signs must be returned after Jan 5th.
Categories:
Both Charles Town and Ranson will have Peoples Choice for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place.
Both Charles Town and Ranson will have a Santa’s Pick, Mrs. Claus’s Pick, and Buddy’s Pick.
Best Light Show Charles Town & Ranson- Must have lights and music
Best Griswold Charles Town & Ranson- House must have an abundance of lights. This is for the most lit house!
Best Theme Charles Town & Ranson– House must decorate in the theme of “A Very Buddy Holiday.” This is based on the movie “Elf.”
Best Neighborhood Charles Town & Ranson- Neighborhood having the most participants
Best Commercial Business Charles Town & Ranson
