  1. Dog Fest

    April 28, 2018, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ North King Street

Join us in lovely historic Shepherdstown for a gathering of dogs, dog lovers, and all things canine. Meet service and assistance dogs, watch dogs working sheep, get some cuddles with a police dog, and enter your family dog in our Community Dog Show. Enjoy the wares offered by our jury-approved vendors, speak to a vet, consult with a pet photographer, learn about canine blood donation, and teach your children the best way to greet a dog. Settle in for a meal in one of our many dog-friendly restaurants, and plan to come back to Shepherdstown! Two Rivers Treads joins DogFest as a sponsor for the first time. At 9am on Saturday, they will kick everything off with a pre-Fest Fun Run of one mile for kids and their dogs, and two miles for adults and dogs.

  2. Cabaret

    April 28, 2018, 8:00 PM - 10:30 PM @ Old Opera House

Cabaret Musical Drama | Rated PG13. In a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920s draw to a close, a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the Cabaret. With the Emcee’s bawdy songs as wry commentary, Cabaret explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Cliff, a young American writer newly arrived in Berlin, is immediately taken by English singer Sally Bowles. Meanwhile, Fräulein Schneider, proprietor of Cliff and Sally’s boardinghouse, tentatively begins a romance with Herr Schultz, a mild-mannered fruit seller who happens to be Jewish. The 1966 Broadway production became a hit, inspiring numerous subsequent productions in London and New York, as well as the 1972 film by the same name. Be sure to reserve the best seating by calling the Old Opera House Box Office at 304-725-4420 or purchase your tickets online!
